Overnight Rules & Regulations

HOURS - A day is considered from 3:00PM to 3:00PM or any portion thereof. There is a charge per person to remain on premises after 3:00PM. All arrangements to remain on premises must be made at the office before 3:00PM.

RESERVATIONS - One family per site (Husband, wife and unmarried children). Number of persons on reservation slip is all that will be honored. NO GROUP RESERVATIONS.

GENERAL - Positively no defacing of trees (including driving of nails and screws) shrubs, rocks or removal of any plants. No erection of any signs including for rent or sale without permission of the management. NO INTOXICATING BEVERAGES. Any complaints of disorderly behavior, abuse of alcoholic beverages will result in prompt removal from the campground by the management staff. Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children. No soliciting or selling on the premises. Only two sleeping units per campsite.

CURFEW - Quiet time is 10:00PM weekdays and 10:30PM on weekends. At this time the recreation hall closes Campers should leave picnic area and beach. Young people should be on a campsite with an adult present. NO GATHERINGS AFTER 12:00 MIDNIGHT. After curfew bell rings, general quiet will prevail. No minor is to be left alone on the premises.

VEHICLES - Do not wash cars or trailers. At no time will there be more than two cars on any campsite. No golf carts of any kind, gasoline powered generators, mini bikes, motorcycles etc. are to be operated in the campground. NO MOTORIZED BIKES OR SCOOTERS. Drive carefully, obey the speed limit. Motor vehicles may be operated only by a licensed driver.

TRASH - Wrap trash and put into dumpsters. there is no trash service (Locate dumpsters on map above).

SAFETY - Do not hang lanterns on trees. 40lb Propane tanks are the maximum size permitted. Tanks dropped off and paid for before 3:00PM will be filled by 4:00PM. Refrigerators must be kept inside. Campfires must be supervised at all times. NO BICYCLES RIDDEN AFTER DUSK. No firearms, B.B. guns, fireworks, sparklers permitted. If caught prompt removal from grounds.

GUESTS - NO OVERNIGHT GUESTS. Guests are welcomed. ALL visitors must check-in at the office before entering the campground. You are permitted 6 guests only on any given day. A fee is charged for each person 2 yrs of age and over. The fee is refunded if the visit is less than 1 hour during any given day. You are responsible for your guests. Guests under 21 may not visit a site unless an adult is present. Any person using profane language or acting in a disorderly manner (in the opinion of the management) will be deprived of their privileges and must leave the premises immediately.

PETS - Pets are not to be left unattended on a campsite. Pets are not permitted on the grass, picnic area, beach or in the lake. Keep pets on a leash and quiet at all times. ALWAYS clean up after them.

CHILDREN - They are not permitted to be registered in any schools while staying at Hospitality Creek Campground, Inc. If a child is left in someone else’s care, other than parent, the office must be notified.

LAKE, BEACH & POOL - The rules are posted at the lake & pool, please obey them. Lake & pool opens at 11:00AM to dusk in season.

BY THEFT, FIRE, ACCIDENTS, ETC.


Seasonal Rules & Regulations

OPENING - The camping season is from April 18, 2008 to October 5, 2008. Sites are non-transferable or may not be subleased. Nothing is permitted on campsites or anything setup until opening day, Friday, April 18, 2008, 8:00AM. Only two sleeping units permitted on a site. A camping unit is anything that can be slept in. No parking on any road in the campground. No more than 2 vehicles on a site at one time. A boat trailer is a vehicle. NO alcoholic beverages.

CLOSING - ALL equipment and personal property must be removed from your site when you leave. BOATS are not to be left anywhere on the premises!! A block platform laying flat is all that may be left. Anything else left on the site after October 2nd will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of. If you are changing sites and need to move your blocks, THEY MUST BE MOVED BY OCTOBER 2nd or they will be disposed of.

METERED SITES - ALL SITES require a $50.00 DEPOSIT due by April 15th, opening weekend. This deposit for metered sites will go toward your last electric bill. Any balance left will be credited to your electric for the following year. If you are not returning, the balance will be mailed to you. ANYONE whose meter is tampered with will have to leave the campground.

ELECTRIC BILLS - Meters are read the first of each month. Bills can be picked up at the office, booth, the 5th of each month and paid at that time. 24% interest will be charged if your bill is not paid by the 15th of each month.

RETURNED CHECKS - ANYONE whose check is returned for insufficient funds from the bank will be charged $25.00 for each check.

PICNIC TABLES - NO painting, staining, cutting or setting fire to tables.

BUG ZAPPERS - We ask everyone to shut off their bug zapper at 11:00PM to they do not annoy other campers.

STATE HEALTH CODE - No water from trailers may go on or into the ground. It must be caught in a fly-proof container and dumped at the dumping station.

L.P. GAS - No more than 240lb. tanks allowed. Bottles dropped off and paid for before 3:00PM will be filled by 4:00PM Stop at office, booth or store (when open) to pay for ticket. Old tanks removed for $5.00 each. Office must be notified & tank put at perimeter of site by road. DO NOT put in dumpsters. Anyone caught doing so will be removed immediately.

CHILDREN - They are not permitted to be registered in any schools while staying at Hospitality Creek Campground, Inc. If a child is left in someone else’s care, other than parent, the office must be notified.

STATE HEALTH DEPT. - Requires a tight collar on all sewer connections. If you don’t have one, they are available at the office for $3.50.

TRASH - Wrapped and put into a dumpster. Glass, plastic, & aluminum are to be put together in the recyclable bins next to each dumpster & in the picnic area.

PLATFORMS - We will not permit any wooden platforms to be built or brought in. Patio block are available at the campground. NO cement poured.

BICYCLES - There are to be NO BICYCLES ON THE ROADS AFTER DUSK, for safety reasons for everyone.

GOLF CARTS - Not permitted, or anything motorized.

PETS - A cat or dog is considered a pet!! Pets are becoming more of a problem in campgrounds. It is up to each pet owner to CLEAN UP after his/her pet and to be sure that his/her pet is not disturbing anyone, or you will lose the privilege of having a pet at camp. DO NOT CHAIN PETS TO TREES! 2 pet limit!

LEAVES & TREES - When you rake your leaves, rake them to the perimeter of your site. We do not want to remove leaves from the campground as they provide food for trees. Do not cut any trees or brush. If you think something needs to be removed, contact the office. Do not hang lanterns on trees.

CONSTRUCTION - We want to keep Hospitality Creek Campground as natural as possible. NO fences of any kind may be built. Our building code prohibits permanent construction. ALL roofs must be plastic or canvas. NO bright lights are to be left on all night at your site, so as not to disturb campers. ALL sinks and refrigerators must be in an enclosure. Do not use tires as flower pots. NO storage sheds.

USE OF SITE - Only one family to a site. Husband, wife and unmarried children. Persons listed on season cards are non-transferable. The office must be notified by the site occupants, in advance, if visitors want to make use of the site when season occupants are absent. Visitors must register upon entering the campground and pay the daily visitors fee. All people not listed on your season card are considered guests and have to be paid for. Please DO NOT enlarge your site. If there is a question on your site limits, please contact the office. LIMIT LIGHTS at night. Think of your neighbor, 1 small strand only left on. NO log splitters allowed.

GUESTS - NO MORE THAN 6 GUESTS PER FAMILY on any given day! The daily guest fee is $8.00 per person between May 23rd and September 1st. $6.00 charge before May 23rd and after September 1st. The fee is charged per person 2 years of age or older. The fee is refunded if the visit is less than 1 hour. If an overnight guest arrives after 5:00PM the charge is $8.00. Before 5:00PM the charge is $16.00, including times when a $6.00 guest fee is charged. NO refund or rain check due to weather.

REGISTER GUESTS - If you are expecting visitors, they must be registered at the booth 48 hrs. before arriving. If they are not registered, they will be turned away. We hope this will help eliminate the trend of people’s names and site #’s being used to enter our facility.

PAYMENTS - If we do not receive your deposit by September 21st, the site reverts back to us to rent out. NO EXCEPTIONS!

REFUND POLICY - If for any reason your site is terminated, your refund will be based on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

QUIET TIME - Recreation Hall closes at 10:00PM weekdays & 10:30 weekends. General quiet should prevail at all times.

LAKE & POOL - The lake and pool are open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, weekends only until Monday, June 20th. Hours are 11:00 a.m. until dusk, which is around 8:00PM Sun tents can NOT have walls to them. We must be able to see through them to the water. Absolutely NO SWIMMING OR WADING until lifeguard is on duty. Obey ALL RULES for lake, and pool LOCKERS are to be emptied by Labor Day Weekend.

R.V. TOILETS - In trailers only. If a house toilet is found it has to be removed immediately.

MANAGEMENT ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY
FOR LOSS BY FIRE, THEFT AND ACCIDENTS.


Swim Club Rules & Regulations
Apply to Lake, Beach, Pools & Boats

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES - Prohibited. Persons suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol shall be prohibited from entering the water.

PETS - Prohibited.

LITTER - Please do not litter. We keep the grounds clean, but your help is appreciated. Use trash receptacles that are provided.

PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Parents are responsible for the action and safety of their guests & children. Our lifeguards are not babysitters. Children that are NOT potty trained must always wear swim diapers to go into lake or pool. No children under 16 will be admitted into park without an adult. Children must be at least 48" tall to go into pool / lake alone.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES - Do not play with or remove lifesaving equipment. Swimming is prohibited during an electrical storm. Swimmers shall leave the water immediately when told to do so.  Do not roughhouse in water, push or shove on any of the docks. Do not throw sand.

RESTRICTIONS - No swimming outside the designated area. No fishing within the swimming area. There will be only one person at a time on the diving board. Only one bounce on the diving board. Swim club members & guests / campers’ guests are not permitted to bring in personal boats. No running on the beach or in the pool area. NO LARGE INFLATABLE TOYS in the lake or pool. NO water balloons of any kind in pool / lake area. Sun tents can NOT have walls to them. We must be able to see through them to the water. No glass in the pool areas. Obey ALL rules in the pool and beach area.

ROPE SWING - One person on the rope or ladder at a time. Do not swing back to ladder or dock. Do not jump or dive from ladder. Do not swing on rope if someone is in the drop zone. Do not climb the rope.

REFUNDS - No refund or rain check due to weather and lake or pool closing.

GUESTS - NO more than 6 guests per family at any time. If Swim Club members or campers are expecting visitors, please register them at the booth / office upon entering the park.

WEEKDAY PASSES - Weekday passes may be used Monday-Friday only (excludes 4th of July) starting Friday, June 20th and ending Friday, August 29th.

SEASON PASSES - Season passes may be used weekends only starting Saturday, May 24th until Friday, June 20th, then every day until Labor Day. Sign information card in the left hand corner that all rules have been read by family members.

LOCKERS - We are not responsible for fire, theft or water damage. You must supply your own lock, which must be removed by Labor Day, along with all contents. After Labor Day, we will assume that any remaining locks and contents are abandoned and subject to disposal.

RENTAL BOATS - Do not swim or dive from any boat. Do not overload boats: 3 in a canoe, 4 in a rowboat, and 4 in a paddleboat are the limits. ALL must wear life preservers at all times. When renting boats, you must return the equipment by the designated time or additional fees will be charged.

Management reserves the right to close the lake/pool for the day due to inclement weather. Membership cards are non-transferable and only to be used by the person in whose name the card is issued. Cards must be presented to the attendant at the lake entrance.

Management reserves the right to change the rules and regulations and to evict for infraction. The beach opens at 11:00 AM and closes at dusk. All pass holders and their guests are to leave the premises before dark. We open Saturday, May 24th of Memorial Day Weekend. WEEKENDS ONLY until Friday, June 20th, then every day until Labor Day, September 1st, closing day. Swimmers who are guests of campers may get permission to stay by making arrangements at the office. Management assumes no responsibility for loss by fire, theft and accidents.
